In-Kind Donations

ACANA also accepts donations of new and gently used items including furniture, electronics, clothing or books that refugees, asylees and other immigrants may need. If you would like to donate items, please call us at 215-729-8225 extension 102.

 

Volunteer

You can make a difference in someone’s life by volunteering at ACANA! We are always looking for volunteers, even if you do not have a lot of time to commit. We depend on volunteers to provide much needed services to the community. There are volunteer opportunities working on the Annual African Festival, assisting in the legal or community development department and more. If you are interested in volunteering, please call 215-729-8225 extension 107.

Internships

Internships are a great way to get involved and gain experience. We offer internships in Arts and Culture, Community Development, Health Services and the Legal Services Department. If you are interested in an internship, please send your resume to cazi@acanaus.org with the position in the subject line. Please include your area of interest and your availability. All internships are unpaid.
